What a huge month! Off the back of the accolades we received at the Australian International Beer Awards earlier this month, comes some more silverware courtesy of the Perth Royal Beer Awards as we celebrate the launch of our new brand campaign introducing our range of Future Classics to the world!

The Perth Royal Beer Awards are WA’s premier beer competition that promote and celebrate the continual expansion and innovation of the beer industry. The competition, which is part of the Perth Royal Food Awards, welcomes entries from commercial, mid and small sized craft breweries.

It was a pleasure to walk away from this year’s competition with eleven different awards for our range of craft beers and an additional two awards, courtesy of the Dingo Lager.

Most notably, this year we collected 4 gold medals, awarded to our Summer Ale, XPL, WIT and the Dingo Lager. However, the greatest recognition came from both the WIT and our brand new XPL which were both awarded trophies – ranking them as the single best beers in their respective classes!

XPL (Draught): Trophy – Best Lager Draught

WIT (Draught): Trophy – Best European Style Beer Draught
WIT (Draught): Gold – Class 73 European Style Draught
Summer Ale (Draught): Gold – Class 20 Pale Ale Draught
Dingo Lager (Packaged): Gold – Class 3 Lager Package

At Whitelakes, we enjoy creating beers that offer consistent quality and champion the importance of craftsmanship, so it’s no surprise to anyone that we are very proud of the work Sean Symons and the brew team conduct on a daily basis. It has been rewarding to have that same acclamation echoed from the judges of both the AIBA & The Perth Royal Beer Awards this month.
