We Are Australian International Beer Award Winners!

We’re onto a winner!

Last week at the Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA), Whitelakes Brewing were recognised for our achievements and took home a plethora of awards!

This included our Summer Ale which was awarded gold in the English Summer (Best British and European Style Ale) for 2021!

The AIBA is the largest annual beer competition in the world. The expert judges assess over 2,600 entries in both draught and packaged beer categories. This year Whitelakes Brewing was presented with seven awards across a wide range of categories.

Dingo Lager, which is brewed in our Baldivis brewery, was also presented with two silver awards.

Sean Symons, Whitleakes Brewing and Dingo Head Brewer, stated “To pick up medals at such a prestigious award ceremony is a huge achievement, especially as we were competing against the best of the best worldwide! We see these awards as a yardstick which measures how we’re performing and to affirm that we’re producing great quality beers.”

This was echoed by Whitelakes Brewing Managing Director, John Gastev, who also said “The team at Whitelakes Brewing have put in an incredible amount of hard work, I’m proud that their craftsmanship and dedication has been recognised on such a large scale.”

Since our inception in 2016, our primary belief has been that brewing isn’t about trends or triumphs. Instead, we focus on the process of making. 

Our talented team enjoys creating beers that offer consistent quality and we champion the importance of craftsmanship. Our aim? To ensure that with every sip of Whitelakes beer, you know it’s been made using the freshest ingredients and with the level of care and attention to detail that only a true maker can provide. We are thrilled to receive recognition of our efforts from the AIBA once again this year.
